Happy New Year from Immanuel's Sunday School

Happy New Year!                        

Looking back on 2021, there’s no doubt that God blessed us with an amazing fall semester. Thank you parents for bringing your child(ren) each Sunday. Seeing their excitement to participate at Sunday school brought joy to so many. Lessons were learned about Jesus, friendships kindled, and forever memories made. We can’t wait for the winter semester to begin! 

Sunday school classes are from 9:15 - 10:00 a.m. 

Everyone is welcome! Member, Non-member, Family, Friends. Sunday school helps your child learn about Jesus, develop Christian relationships and prepare for the week ahead. 

In the coming months, we will learn about Jesus’ example here on earth. How He handles temptation, performs miracles, and how believing in Jesus washes away our sins. We have an exciting new curriculum filled with fun activities to do as we learn about Jesus. Details are as follows: 

Sunday School :

Child Drop-off will be in the family life center. 

Then children will divide into three groups for lessons. 

  • 3yr olds - PreK 
  • K - 1st  Grade 
  • 2nd – 5th Grade

        • Children will be learning in a safe environment, distancing as required
        • Child Pick-up will be in the family life center.
    • For Adults also at 9:15 – There is a discipleship group led by Jan DuBois on the stage located in the family life center. Adult Bible study led by Pastor Dave DuBois & Linda Boldyreff in the Immanuel Room. And a coffee clutch in the Adult Ed room where you can meet other Sunday School parents while enjoying breakfast appetizers. 

    • Youth Group 6th-12th – 9:00 am – Join our youth board members in the basement youth room for great discussion and activity around the Bible.

We are looking to grow our team and create a rewarding environment for all who help. If you feel the call to serve, don’t hesitate to reach out. Several options are available.
