Advent 2021 - Fruits of the Spirit

Join us this Advent season as we prepare our hearts for the birth of Christ and explore the "Fruits of the Spirit"

The Love of Christ & love for others.

"Love is the key. Joy is love singing. Peace is love resting. Long-suffering is love enduring. Kindness is love's touch. Goodness is love's character. Faithfulness is love's habit. Gentleness is love's self-forgetfulness. Self-control is love holding the reins."

Special Services

There are many special Sundays that we celebrate here at Immanuel, like Reformation Sunday and more. Visit here to enjoy them.

Joshua

These are God’s words that we need to live by every day. Joshua was a man of honor and courage. We, too, should be a person of honor and courage. God will equip each and every one of us this year as we delve into the book of Joshua to be His servant with strength and courage. Let’s pledge to be obedient to our God as we serve Him with love to our neighbor through this year.

August 2021

These are the last 3 Sundays where Pastor Alan Schwieger served as Immanuel's Pastor

Daniel's Plan

In the Lutheran Commentary on the book of Daniel, it says: "Exiled to Babylon in 605 BC Daniel was one of several young men chosen to serve in Nebuchadnezzar's court."  Despite living in a pagan society Daniel is used by God and blessed by God to demonstrate the sovereignty of God over human affairs. In these first 6 chapters, God supernaturally rescued Daniel and his friend (the rest of the book consists of visions of future judgment and deliverance by the Messiah.)

What is intriguing and beneficial to us today is that in each of the first 6 chapters, there is a life lesson that points to the grace of God and the importance of remaining steadfast in one's convictions and dedication to the One true God!
